Pałac rodu Thun-Hohenstein w Kończycach Wielkich

Pałac "Dobrej Pani", będący częścią krajobrazowego parku barokowo-klasycystycznego, otoczony jest historią rodu Thun-Hohenstein. Usytuowany na skarpie nad strumieniem Piotrówką, prezentuje się imponująco po przebudowie z końca XIX wieku.

Dominująca nad drzewami czworoboczna wieża oraz reprezentacyjna sala na pierwszym piętrze z tarasem nad podcieniem są charakterystycznymi elementami. Kaplica Opatrzności Bożej, zbudowana w 1776 roku przez Harasowskich, stoi po prawej stronie pałacu. Wewnątrz kaplicy można podziwiać groby lokalnych włodarzy oraz niezwykłą ambonę przedstawiającą Lewiatana.

Ciekawostką są najstarsze na świecie witraże wykonane z pleksi, co świadczy o podejściu rodziny Thun-Hohenstein, szczególnie znanego przedwojennego badacza szkła organicznego, Otto Röhma, który był teściem jednego z synów hrabiny Gabrieli von Thun-Hohenstein.
